Controls and software

We take all the possibilities offered by modern operating systems into consideration at an early stage in the design and construction process of our machines, test equipment and production lines. Complex and therefore expensive mechanical movements have been replaced by (linear) servo-axes. Serial communication with sensors and activators will reduce the number of expensive cables.

By building external operating units under own management we have built up extensive know-how and expertise over the years, which we use to its best advantage. Because sub-units can be fitted with wiring and sensors at an early stage, electronic operating units and operating consoles can easily be integrated into the entire machine.

Developing operating software under our own management enables us to make use of the system as economically as possible, because the engineers involved in the project continue in their collaboration with each other. Machines and other equipments will often need to be modified or otherwise adjusted to suit products that have also been changed. It is a great advantage if you can consult the original designers of the systems in this case or for service and/or maintenance purposes.

Our customers are entitled to the source code rights of the machine software developed for them by STT Products.
